Our Commitment to Journalism

At the Nordic Business Journal, we are dedicated to fair, accurate, and fact-based reporting. We aim to deliver high-quality journalism that adheres to the highest ethical standards.

Editorial Process:

All editorial content across our platforms—print, digital, video, and audio—undergoes a thorough editing process to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

Fact-Checking:

Our editorial team, including researchers and investigators, works meticulously to verify the accuracy of every piece we publish. Should we make an error, we will promptly issue a correction to maintain the integrity of our reporting.

Fairness:

We strive to present balanced viewpoints in our stories, ensuring companies and individuals have opportunities to respond to coverage—especially on sensitive or controversial topics. We use anonymous sources sparingly, and only with prior editorial approval.

Our AI Framework: Innovation Anchored in Editorial Integrity

At Nordic Business Journal and our technology partner Ganiley Solutions, artificial intelligence is a strategic asset—deployed deliberately to enhance productivity, analytical depth, and reader value. We integrate approved AI tools across our operations to support journalists and analysts in drafting, transcription, data analysis, research synthesis, and fact verification. These capabilities accelerate insight generation without compromising the rigour expected by Nordic business leaders.

Human judgment remains the cornerstone of our editorial process. Every article shaped with AI assistance undergoes thorough review by our journalists, who retain full accountability for accuracy, balance, originality, and narrative quality. AI augments our expertise; it does not replace it.

For select automated products—such as our AI-powered search function and daily audio briefings—we deploy systems operating without direct human intervention. In these cases, we apply transparent labelling to ensure readers can distinguish fully automated content from journalist-led reporting.

As AI regulation, industry standards, and technological capabilities evolve across the Nordics and EU, so too will our framework. We remain committed to transparent, responsible adoption—ensuring AI serves our mission: delivering trusted business intelligence to executive decision-makers.

Opinion and Syndicated Content:

Contributions from non-journalists are labelled as “POV” (point of view), providing context on the contributor’s expertise. Additionally, we may feature syndicated content from trusted news partners and future collaborators.

Perspective:

Our reporters and researchers are encouraged to draw informed conclusions, as long as they have thoroughly explored the subject and reported on it from multiple perspectives.

Advertising:

Advertisers do not influence news coverage. Occasionally, we may publish “custom content”—articles, videos, or audio pieces created in collaboration with advertisers or sponsors, clearly labelled as such.

Ethics:

Our reporters and researchers do not accept payment from the companies or individuals they cover, nor do we pay sources to participate in our reporting.

Independence:

The Nordic Business Journal is owned by Ganiley Solutions and D-vectors, both comprised of post-PhD researchers committed to maintaining our journalistic independence.

Audio Accessibility

To enhance accessibility, we offer a feature that allows users to listen to most articles as they are published. While we strive for accuracy, please note that automated voice systems may introduce minor variations in pronunciation or tone.
